Technology Dynamics Inc. introduces two series of ruggedized power supplies rated at 1500 W and 3000 W, intended for 440 VAC single phase 50/60Hz input. The NTAE-HV Series is equipped with Active Power Factor Correction and Programmability capabilities which allow remote adjustment of the output voltage and current from zero to full value by RS-232. The NTAE-HV units can be used as laboratory programmable power supplies or bulk power supplies for testing (DC-DC Converters), ATE applications or Precision Programmable Battery Charging. The units can be optionally ruggedized for demanding military applications surviving shock, vibration, wide temperature operation and the environmental requirements of MIL-STD-810 for stationary ground applications, surface vehicles and shipboard applications. The unit measures 8” W x 13.5” L x 5” H. Standard outputs include 12 VDC, 15 VDC, 24 VDC, 30 VDC, 36 VDC, 48 VDC and 60 VDC. All models include Active Current Sharing allowing connection of up to four units in parallel for high current needs or future upscaling of power requirements.
The models NTAE-HV-1500 (1500 W) and NTAE-HV-3000 (3000 W) fill a pressing market need for high input voltage power supplies that are Programmable and Power Factor Corrected.
